13 Years of Designing and Sewing Experience
Melissa began studying Fashion Design during a gap year between High School and College in Israel. She continued her education and passion for designing during her Undergrad at Colorado State University. Melissa's love for intricate details in her designs was awakened in Florence Italy, where she studied abroad for 5 months. There she learned the art of corsetry, footwear design and construction, and couture sewing techniques.
After a couple of years in the industry and traveling, Melissa attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where she honed her design skills in various classes in draping, pattern making, illustration, and digital skills. This is where she was trained in the art of Costume Design.
